This bolster cradle will support bolsters 12" to 14" long x 6" to 7" in diameter. The bolster cradle may be used on the bobbin lace floor stand or on a suitable table.
This cradle is manufactured by highly skilled local craftsmen utilizing premium American Red Oak. The base assembly is 7.5" x 12" x 3/4" and is 4-1/2" in height.
The distance from the outside edge of one bolster support to the outside edge of the other bolster support is 10-1/2".
For a more pleasing appearance, floor stands and bolster cradles of matching materials and finishes should be ordered at the same time.
Several coats of a durable finish are applied to enhance and help protect the natural wood. The finish will not rub off or stain any fabric that it might come into contact with.
A deluxe bolster cradle manufactured using selected Cherry Wood and highly skilled local craftsmen may also be ordered. Photo not available at this moment.
