Stitch Away Return Policy:
Sometimes, just holding something in your hand is all you need to decide that it's just the perfect thing! Sadly enough, however, some things just do not work out for one reason or another... and a return is needed.
We ask our valued customer to please open their order immediately on receipt, and to check it over. Retain the shipping carton, documents and all packing.
In the event you wish to return the item for any reason please e-mail us first, to alert us of the return. We will provide you with a return authorization number, the required documentation and shipping instructions. Any request to return an item must be made within thirty (30) days.
If you are returning an item for any reason other than for warranty purposes, shipping will be at your expense. Upon receipt of the item in the original shipping carton we will refund you the complete purchase price.

LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY:
You may feel confident for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase that Stitch Away will repair or replace free of charge parts or the complete item purchased which may be defective as a result of material or workmanship provided that upon request the customer returns the item with proof of purchase within one (1) year and provides us with reasonable opportunity to verify the alleged defect by inspection.
We will not be responsible for any asserted defect which has resulted from misuse, abuse, unauthorized repair or alteration.
All items are well packaged to prevent damage during shipping however please e-mail us immediately if the item you purchased arrives in a damaged condition in order for us to process an insurance claim and send you another item as quickly as possible. We take care of all the paper work free of charge.
In the event that an item requires warranty consideration please e-mail us first, to alert us of the return. We will provide you with a return authorization number, the required documentation and shipping instructions. Shipping charges may or may not apply depending on the defect found.
This warranty is in addition to any statutory warranty and does not exclude or limit legal rights you may have but shall run concurrently with applicable legislation in your area. Furthermore, some areas do NOT allow limitation on how long an implied warranty will last so the above limitations may not apply to you.
