This ornamental footstool was designed to provide the needlepoint enthusiast with an alternative medium to which a round needlepoint design may be attached and displayed.
It measures 16" in diameter at the bottom foot profile and 16" in diameter at the top. It measures 5-1/8" in height and was designed to hold a 12" design.
It is manufactured utilizing selected American Red Oak material and local labor.
No particle board or imitation wood products are used.
It comes completely assembled. The plywood 14" round top mounting plate can be easily removed to allow for the upholstering of the completed design.
It is suggested that a background border of at least 2" be added to the design to allow for the cushion material. The ground fabric should be needlepoint canvas and a continental stitch should be used in conjunction with a good quality wool yarn.
It is available in oriental black (shown) or deep red mahogany fade resistant colors or with a clear oak finish.
It is highly recommended that the customer purchase the ornamental footstool "PRIOR" to purchasing a design pattern and stitching materials. It is possible for slight changes in wood grain/color to accentuate or subtract from attributes of a completed stitched pattern.
